Chelsea fans set for bad news with star man injured
Chelsea fans will not be pleased to hear that their star man, Eden Hazard will be out for some time following his injury.
The winger missed their game before the international break, and now Belgium manager, Roberto Martinez, has confirmed he will miss at least two and a half weeks with his troublesome calf injury, that has forced him to pull out of the side and go back to Cobham for rehab.
Chelsea are of course en-route to the Premier League title, and missing Hazard is not going to cost them too greatly, but the fans will want to see him back for the FA Cup semi final against Tottenham Hotspur, and to help them secure a place in the final and a chance at winning the double.
Hazard has been brilliant this season, and while the majority of plaudits have gone to N’Golo Kante for his brilliant showings, the Hazard of 2014/15 has been seen far more, and the player who struggled so badly last season seems to be a distant memory.
Of course, another massive positive for Chelsea is that Hazard has spoken a few times about how much he loves playing under Antonio Conte, and how a move away from the club no longer interests him – and that he would like to stay and win more trophies under the Italian.
