Chelsea captain moves closer to joining Premier League sidePublished January 10, 2017
John Terry could well be leaving Chelsea on loan until the end of the season – when he looks set to leave the club on a permanent basis.
That’s according to the infamous Sky Sources, who of course know everything at this time of year, and think that Eddie Howe is keen on bringing the Chelsea legend to Bournemouth.
It seems that John Terry’s time at Chelsea has come to an end, and despite the club standing behind him following the red card against Peterborough in the FA Cup, Antonio Conte has other options you’d have to expect would get a spot in the starting line-up ahead of Terry.
Conte has recalled Nathan Ake from his loan spell at Bournemouth – leaving them short at the back, and potentially allowing a player with the experience of Terry to join the club, could help Howe’s men.
Chelsea meanwhile are leading the way in the race for the Premier League title – and are sitting clear at the top of the table despite losing to Tottenham Hotspur last time out – and Conte will want his best side ready to play when Premier League action resumes.
Even after his one match ban, following the FA upholding his red card, Terry does not seem to feature in that.
