Big news! Vital man for Chelsea commits future to the club
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has poured cold water on the possibility he could leave the club in the aftermath of winning their fifth Premier League title, per Sky.
The Blues overcame West Brom 1-0 on Friday night to finally close out their success having led the table for much of the season.
Conte has been a revelation this term, with his style, philosophy and tactics washing away the nightmare of Chelsea’s form last season, which saw them finish tenth.
But his work hasn’t gone unnoticed, and with both Barcelona and Inter on the lookout for new coaches this summer, speculation of a Stamford Bridge exit would not go away.
But Conte has reaffirmed his commitment to the West London club.
Asked if he will still be there next season, he said: “Yeah, and we have to improve next season.
“We started to do our work. We have to improve in the next season, to find the right solution to improve.
“We are working for only nine months together. I think if you can continue with these players, you can improve a lot.
“Now they know my idea, I know them, the characteristics of my players. And we can improve.”
