Bayern Munich star CONFIRMS offers from abroad as he considers future
Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa says he is being chased by clubs in England, Spain, France and China ahead of a possible summer departure from the Allianz Arena, per Goal.
The Brazilian has been at the German champions since 2015 after departing Shakhtar Donetsk to sign for Pep Guardiola in Bavaria.
Guardiola, though, has since left Bayern and is now in charge at Manchester City, with Carlo Ancelotti now in the hotseat at the Bundesliga giant.
The Brazil international has subsequently fallen out of favour, starting just eight league games this term and wants assurances over his future if he is to stay at the club.
“(Staying) depends on a few factors, mainly the minutes played, he told Bild.
“We got some strong offers from China and also from big clubs from Europe. When the season is over, we will sit down and analyse everything.”
But Costa has allayed fans’ fears by claiming it is his intention to remain at Bayern right now.
“It is not my idea to leave Bayern now. I want to win titles. I like Bayern and I think I can win titles with Bayern to reach the highest technical level of my career, to go for the Ballon d’Or, the Champions League, the Club World Cup.”
