Bayern Munich Set Sights on Tottenham Star Following Impressive Euro 2016 ShowingPublished June 26, 2016
Tottenham be warned. Bayern Munich are reportedly sniffing around in-form midfielder Eric Dier according to th Sunday People.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a standout campaign at White Hart Lane in 2015/16 which led to a key role in Roy Hodgson’s national team set-up and the tough tackling Spurs man has been a huge hit this summer, and as such interest from European giants isn’t too surprising.
Tottenham signed Dier from Sporting Lisbon in August 2014 for just £4m and is now worth many times that figure.
Bayern Munich will struggle to convince Tottenham to sell Dier and given the player only signed a new five-year deal last term one imagines the Bavarian side will find it hard to nab the England intenational.
Mauricio Pochettino will have to fight to keep hold of the nucleus of the side that fought well for the Premier League title last term with the likes of Dier, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen sure to be attracting interest from many prospective suitors.
