Bayern Munich line up Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to become next managerPublished September 25, 2016
Liverpool fans, look away now!
The Merseyside club have had a brilliant start to the new Premier League season, with some tipping the Reds as early title front runners.
Whilst things look very rosy for fans at Anfield at the moment, the latest news coming out of the British press may get some supporters panicking.
According to the Express, Bayern Munich want Reds boss Jurgen Klopp to be their next manager.
It’s claimed that the 49-year-old is seen as the ideal replacement for current boss Carlo Ancelotti, whose contract expires in 2019, and it’s now believed the the hierarchy at the Bundesliga giants have already earmarked Klopp as their number one target, should Ancelotti depart the Allianz Arena before his contract expires.
It’s believed that whilst Jurgen Klopp is loving life at Anfield, he could still be tempted by the German giants should they decide to make their move, but with Bayern winning eight games from eight so far this season, the call is not expected to come anytime in the near future.
Klopp, is right at the start of a six-year contract at Anfield, and whilst his long-term future may be in question, the German boss will surely remain on Merseyside for the foreseeable future.
Liverpool fans should just enjoy their flamboyant manager, whilst they can.
