Barcelona step up interest in Arsenal asset
Barcelona will firm up their interest in Arsenal fullback Hector Bellerin by offering £20million plus midfielder Rafinha, per Sky.
Bellerin is currently on international duty with Spain at the under 21 European Championships in Poland, but his future will undoubtedly be hit topic in the coming weeks.
The Blaugrana have never hidden their desire to re-sign Bellerin, a former youth product, and they hope offering Rafinha as bait could swing the deal.
As for Bellerin, he has always maintained his commitment to the Gunners, but did admit the fact his family have moved back there has made a real difference to his mindset.
The Gunners’ failure to reach the Champions League may also be a factor in Bellerin’s thinking, and he certainly fits the bill as Barça look for a fullback.
Ernesto Valverde replaced Luis Enrique as Barça coach last month, and has not made a signing yet, but his side are a goos betting tip to win LaLiga next term.
