Barcelona to go all out to snare Liverpool talisman
Barcelona are planning on stepping up their interest in Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho this summer, per the Daily Mail.
According to Sport, the local newspaper in Barcelona, the Brazilian playmaker is a main target for the club as they look to freshen up their midfield.
Current creative force Andres Iniesta is 32 and his contract is running out in 2018, meaning Barcelona are heading into a transitional phase.
Boss Luis Enrique is leaving at the end of the season after a tough campaign which has seen them exit the Champions League at the quarter final stage and lag behind Real Madrid in the La Liga title race.
But to make the summer and ensuing years run smoothly, the Blaugrana want to bring in proven world class players and are prepared to pay Liverpool a similar fee to the £75million they did for Luis Suarez in 2014.

Coutinho had a good relationship with Suarez at Anfield and is also very close to Neymar, opening up the possibility of a switch to the Camp Nou.
