Barcelona agree stunning £155m transfer: World record deal in the balance after fee terms settled
Barcelona striker Neymar has become the subject of a massive £155m bid which was accepted by the La Liga side according to the Metro.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has made the huge offer but by all accounts Stamford Bridge boss Antonio Conte does not want to bring in the Brazilian, preferring instead to concentrate on alternative targets.
The 25-year-old South American has enjoyed a strong run of form in recent weeks, the peak of which came during Barcelona’s amazing 6-1 win over PSG earlier this month, and Abramovich is said to be keen on bringing in a marquee addition though Conte doesn’t want the deal to be completed.
Conte is said to have been angered by Chelsea’s transfer policy, which sees a great deal of the power held by the West London side’s board, when last summer only one of the Italian’s recommended signings being agreed, that of player of the season N’Golo Kante.
Chelsea failed to sign a single player in the January transfer, with Oscar, Branislav Ivanovic and John Obi Mikel all leaving, however this hasn’t affected the Blues romp to a likely Premier League title triumph.
One can well see why Abramovich would look to sign such a bankable asset as Neymar and the reported transfer fee could be easily offset through promotional activities and shirt sales, but seemingly Conte is keen on not bringing in big-name signings who could disrupt the balance of his workmanlike dressing room.
Interest in Neymar could be related to the uncertain future of Chelsea top-scorer Diego Costa, who has been strongly linked with a move to China.
Neymar forms part of arguably the most feared attack in football, alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, and it’s a tad surprising that Barcelona would accept an offer for the former Santos man, as this source suggests.
Neymar has scored 99 goals in 176 appearances since his move to the Catalan giants in 2013, playing a key role in recent successes including two La Liga titles and their Champions League triumph in 2015.
