Arsenal's star player set to leave after training ground bust-up
Arsenal’s star man may be about to leave the club following a training ground bust-up that has left his future in doubt.
It broke on Sunday evening, Alexis Sanchez will look to leave the club in the coming transfer window following several incidents with Arsene Wenger.
The player was left on the bench against Liverpool on Saturday and when it was cleared that it was not through injury, attentions turned to what was going on in the background.
Wrong for Alexis to storm out of training, yeah someone like Walcott would never do that. But Alexis is a winner, Walcott isn't.— Matt (@IslingtonMatt) March 5, 2017
The events started when the Gunners were beaten 5-1 and he reportedly fell out with some of the players. Sanchez was pointing out each player’s mistakes and the finger pointing reportedly carried on into the dressing room, something Wenger and the players were not happy about.
Wenger is said to have talked to the players but Alexis failed to head the words and the bridges seem to have been burned to the point of no return, with the player informing the club of his decision to look for a new club in the window.
PSG and Juventus are already lining up for the players signature and will compete in the summer over what could be a big money move.
Sanchez reportedly rejected a £180,000 deal but French Giants PSG and willing to pay the forward a whopping £300,000 per week to bring him to Paris.
For the time being, Sanchez must return to the team and continue to train in what could be an awkward time for both the player and the management staff.
