Arsenal transfer news: La Liga sides want Gunners star
Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has emerged as a target for La Liga sides Valencia and Sevilla according to The Sun.
The England international has struggled to retain a foothold in Arsene Wenger’s starting eleven in recent seasons and this source claims the 23-year-old is unhappy with his development at the Emirates Stadium, leading a groundswell of interest.
Arsenal signed Oxlade-Chamberlain from Southampton back in 2011 and now into his sixth season in the first-team set-up it would be fair to say the creative talent is yet to deliver on his obvious potential.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has made just 52 Premier League starts over that period and recent arrivals may well see the utility man see even less action and as such one can well understand his concerns.
However a move to Spain seems unlikely but reports over the summer over a possible return to St Mary’s could perhaps hold water.
