Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is set for a loan move away from the Emirates Stadium according to the Daily Mirror.

The 24-year-old England international has been dropped by Sam Allardyce for upcoming World Cup qualifiers and the arrival of Granit Xhaka has left the former star player warming the Gunners bench and now Arsene Wenger is set to send Wilshere out on a loan spell to help revive his ailing career.

Injuries and decidedly average form have dogged Wilshere but there are sure to be no shortage of offers for his services though this source says he won’t be loaned out to a top four chasing side.

Sides in Italy and Spain are also said to be tracking Wilshere, who has made just ten Premier League starts over the course of the past two and a half years.

Wilshere has made a total of 159 appearances for Arsenal since his debut for the North London club back in September 2008.
