Arsenal look to make stunning January move for long-term transfer target
Arsenal have turned their attention to Julian Draxler, as reports suggest Paris Saint-Germain are planning on selling several players, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Parisian club shattered the transfer market after spending £198m for Neymar and will look to make up the funds to comply with Financial Fair Play.
PSG also signed Kylian Mbappe on an initial loan deal, which gives them time to raise cash to comply with UEFA’s rules. The French giants are currently under investigation for allegedly breaching the European governing body’s Financial Play rule.

PSG could offload several players, and Draxler is among the players who are likely to leave in January. The Gunners are monitoring the German international and will have a chance to sign the 23-year-old despite missing out during the summer transfer window.
Alexis Sanchez is likely to leave the club which will force the Gunners to find a suitable replacement in the attack. This would be a great opportunity for Draxler who is eying a move. He’s reportedly worried about his future since the arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
The PSG striker wants to secure a move sooner rather than later after, and Arsenal will be ready to swoop in if he becomes available.
While he’s had a strong start to his career at PSG, it is apparent he’s fallen out of Unai Emery’s future plans. Arsenal can capitalise on this as they prepare a huge bid for Draxler.
