Antonio Conte discusses major summer transfer with Serie A star
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has sounded out Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci about the possibility of a £50million summer move to Stamford Bridge, per the Daily Star.
Conte worked with Bonucci, 29, while in charge at Juve and then with the Italian national team. He now wants a third reunion in the Premier League, having almost secured the title in his debut season.
The report claims Manchester City are keen on him too, but Conte hopes the pair’s strong relationship will tip the balance in his favour.

Bonucci has had his issues in Turin, where he has won five successive Serie A titles, this season, having had a very public row with current boss Massimiliano Allegri.
Although he has claimed that is now in the past, it is believed the imposing central defender will look to leave the club if Allegri remains in charge.
But that is far from certain, with the coach being linked with big jobs like Barcelona and Arsenal. Bonucci is used to the systems Conte employs, particularly three in defence, and would be a huge signing for Chelsea.
