Spain v Turkey Free Bets | Euro 2016

Spain Should Have The Edge Over Turkey.

Spain qualified for Euro 2016 comfortably enough and they still have some fine players, but you just wonder if the same desire is there within the current squad as was there in those that won the European Championships in 2008 and 2012.

Turkey’s qualification was less straightforward and, like Spain, they are probably not the team they were a few years back either.  They certainly possess some talented players, but coach Fatih Terim will be hard pushed to get this squad to the semi-final stage as he did in 2008. Stay tuned for interesting Euro 2016 betting free bet offers.

In seven previous meetings between the two teams it’s no great surprise that the advantage lies with Spain, with their having registered four wins to Turkey’s one (way back in 1954) and a couple of games ending all square. Spain won both of the most recent games, albeit narrowly, which were World Cup qualifiers in 2009.

This will be a particularly big game for Turkey captain Arda Turan, who will know the majority of the Spanish team from playing for Barcelona and, previously Atletico Madrid.  The midfield battle could be key to this game and Turkey are not without quality in the centre of the park.

The Spain v Turkey pre-tournament betting odds lean heavily towards the Spanish but, as elsewhere, earlier group results could have a bearing on those.

Spain do have the stronger team and squad overall and will probably have the edge here and any Spain v Turkey free bets might be put to best use if backing them to prevail in some form, possibly in a double result with the match to be level at half-time with Spain going on to win in 90-minutes.
